$150 per a 50-minute individual appointment
$225 for a 75-minute intake assessment appointment
Dr. Tyer accepts Anthem and Sentara insurance plans.

Dr. Tyer utilizes two evidence-based models of treatment which are Narrative Therapy and Internal Family Systems. For Christians seeking counseling services, these two models prove to integrate well with the Christian faith.

NOTE: All appointments with Tim are Telehealth only.

Payment

How do I pay for counseling services?

You have the following options for payment:

  • Pay at the time of your service. A credit or debit card number will be taken and processed at the end of your counseling session. Card payments have a processing fee of 2.9% + .30 cents.

  • Pay using Zelle, an online transferring tool offered by most banks online. Zelle is fast and easy and it comes with no processing fees! To learn more about Zelle click here. If not paid within 24-hours of your appointment then a $5 fee will be tacked on each additional 24-hour period you have not paid.

  • Request that an invoice be sent to you via email. All invoices are asked to be paid the day of your counseling session. If not paid within 24-hours of your appointment then a $5 fee will be tacked on each additional 24-hour period you have not paid. Invoices come with a processing fee of 3.3% + .30 cents.
